The Seahawks upset George Mason at Trask Mon. 65-58 to break their five-game losing streak and add another conference win to their record. Monarchs fly past Seahawks
Montez Downey led the Seahawks, scoring with 21 points (8-15FG's, 5-8 3-point FG's) in 25 minutes coming off the bench on Saturday, but it wasn't enough to carry UNCW past a very athletic Old Dominion team. The Seahawks led the Monarchs 35-31 at the half, but a quick offensive team led by Brandon Johnson (8-11 FG's, 3-3 3-point FG's) and Vaidas Vasylius (6-8 FG's, 1-2 3-point FG's) produced a 25-1 run late in the second half resulting in a final score of 86-70.… Post the First Comment
