Anxious students chatted with one another in their seats in the Burney Center Ballroom. At 12:15 p.m., the lights dimmed, and the fashion show began.

This year's Communication Studies Dress for Success fashion show featured a CSI: Career Service Investigation theme, based on the CSI television show. It also showcased two video skits, including one that addressed a victim of an interview fashion crime. Banana Republic provided the clothes for all of the models. Pre-Com and Communication majors strutted their stuff in various suits and interview-appropriate attire.

During the 10 minute intermission, audience members won various raffle prizes, such as leather portfolios, Mayfaire Cinema movie tickets and appetizers to Fox and Hound.

Caitlin Richards, a junior, said she found the fashion show educational and fun.

"I liked the fitted suit with the royal blue top," she said. "It was cutting edge."

With entertaining, yet business-savvy programs like these, it will be hard to find an excuse not to be dressed for the job of your dreams.
