Parking deck regulations are a nuisance

Abstract:
Given a choice, would you use taxpayer money to subsidize banks, or to help students pay for college?

It's rare for a public policy question to be this big a no-brainer. But that's the right way to describe the Obama administration's proposal to save an estimated $80 billion over 10 years by making all student loans directly through the government rather than private lenders, and direct that money toward education programs....

So, let me get this right; You're pissed you have to carry your university-issued identification with you at all times. (uh, you might want to read the rules on the BACK of your card...) And you're also upset you can't use your card to swipe your friend's cars in or out of the parking deck. A parking deck YOU chose to purchase a parking decal to park in...a deck that does cost $60 more, but protects your cars from the elements, is within waddling distance of your residence, is well lighted and more secure than any of the other lots on campus.

Wow. You're right. UNCW is evil. Evil, evil, evil...

Man oh man, you're in for a mighty rude awakening when you finally get out into the real world...

Oh, and don't forget Lisa, she is using HER card to let out people that most likely shouldn't have been in the deck to begin with and then getting mad at Parking for not letting HER out? She should also check her facts in that this "new one" - where she can't swipe out other people... that IS NOT a new rule. They just implemented this rule in the little swippy things in the deck so there is actual enforcement, but the rules when she got her parking pass have always said not to swipe out other people. Just another silly, self-entitled student if you ask me.
