True hearts are the ones that pound so loudly the whole world can hear them. In light of the tragic events of this year and remembering those of years past, the students of UNCW came together to remember friends and loved ones lost.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2008, exactly one year since the Virginia Tech tragedy, a vigil called the SGA Campus Tragedy Memorial was held in honor of those lost within the past year.

As the semester draws to a close, students are making plans for the summer and the next school year. Picking student housing for the upcoming semesters is another issue that students have to deal with. Although they will not be available for the summer semester, the new Phase III luxury student apartments that are in the works will be an option, and they are an option that have drawn some strong criticism and protest from some students.

Hey all! I just want to give you all a quick shout-out. I have been sitting here in Iraq country for a little over a week now. The weather has been pretty crazy so far. We have had everything from rain, to hail, to 100 degrees, to sandstorms. We are just starting to get settled in and recently took over for the unit we replaced.
