Anna Payne Sales & Marketing Director UNCW MBA student
Anna is a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) through UNCW's Cameron School of Business. Anna received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from UNCW in 2004. She spent the next three and a half years working at the Star-News, holding positions such as Newspapers in Education (NIE) Coordinator and Marketing Research Manager. After graduating in May 2010, Anna hopes to continue working in the field of Marketing or Marketing Research.
Justin Munn Advertising Consultant UNCW student
Justin is a senior at UNCW planning to graduate in May 2010. He is a Communications Major with a focus in Digital Media/Advertising; he is minoring in Digital Art. Justin has chosen this particular area of study because he enjoys learning how to communicate more effectively through design, media, and face-to-face communication.
Justin grew up in Darlington, SC and Rocky Mount, NC; however, he has traveled to many different countries, including the Dominican Republic, Bosnia, and Tunisia. Justin's previous work experience includes lifeguarding, waiting tables, tutoring high school math and being a stagehand for the Belle Chere festival in Asheville, NC for Edwin McCain, Original P Punk, and others.
After graduating from UNCW, Justin plans to travel the country for a year, touring and playing music while doing freelance design work online for bands and small businesses. He then plans to pursue a Masters Degree in Graphic Design.
Alex Solana Advertising Consultant UNCW Student
Alex, a native "Wilmingtonian", is a sophomore at UNCW majoring in Communication Studies. Alex sees her job as an Advertising Consultant as an opportunity to gain real world work experience.
In her spare time, Alex enjoys hanging out with friends and going to the beach. Her favorite movies are Clueless and Harry Potter. Alex enjoys all types of music, but admits she has a special love for "cheezy, Pop music!"
Stefanie Jones Advertising Consultant UNCW Student
Stefanie, who is from Pine Level, NC, is currently a senior at UNCW pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. As an Advertising Consultant, Stefanie enjoys working with the Wilmington community and offering affordable, effective options to meet the advertising needs of both local and national accounts. In addition to working as an Advertising Consultant, Stefanie actively participates in both the Advertising Club at UNCW and PSE (UNCW's Sales & Marketing Business Fraternity).
Upon graduating in May 2010, Stefanie would like to take a year off to gain experience in Advertising and Public Relations and further explore her career options. She then plans to attend graduate school to study Journalism and Mass Communications.
